Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from working with a realtor?

Realtors list properties and show them to potential buyers. Typically, it takes about 6 – 12 months to sell a house with a real estate agent, and they will take a commission of the sale price when the house is sold. Realtors offer a necessary service for homeowners who don’t mind waiting a half a year or more to sell their home or giving up some of their profit. We aren’t listing properties though; we actually buy houses. We buy the house directly from you.

Do you pay below market value for houses?

Many of the houses we purchase are lower than market value. We find that homeowners are willing to accept this as we pay all cash, we close in a very short amount of time, the homeowners don’t have to pay any attorney or agent fees, and homeowners don’t have to pay for any repairs.

How do you come up with your offer?

We are very transparent. We evaluate every quality of the house: the location, any repairs that are needed, the condition that it’s currently in, and values of neighboring houses.

Are there any commissions or fees?

No! We make you an offer, and we buy your house. No fees.

Am I obligated to buy when I submit my info?

There is no obligation at any point in this process. We will let you decide what is right for you, and we will not pressure you one way or the other.
